and how hard is it to find one.

well, in decent condition then 
there aint to many around where i am, and since my insurance company told me there will be no charge to throught a 2l in my gsi for the last 4 months of my insurance i am going to ring them 2morrow and ask how much for a calibra.

forget the turbo.....
they will let me put a 150bhp 2l in my corsa, but wont let me insure a 1,3 turbo 133bhp toyota glanza.
they prob wont even let me drive a calibra 2l, but thats irish insurance companies for yeah.

DO NOT get an 8v......
get a turbo at your own risk...(tranfer box is biodegradable)
2.0 is alright i suppose....
if you want the engine for a conversion u be better off looking for a mrkII astra GTE for about 3-400 quid in the scrapers......
or ask the right people over here they might be able to help you out.......
