Going to start looking for an xe for my conversion, thinking about getting one soon and give it a bit of a re-build before it goes in.
Wheres the best place to get them from? Buy a car to strip it and sell the parts that i dont need? Any body know any specialist scrappy that sells them?
What standard cars do the xe's come in? Cally 16v, Cav GSi, Astra GTE. Any more? Cav SRi?
Any help appreciated.

put a post in there, i had about 4 engines in less than 12 hours when i was looking.
Also come from Cav GSi iirc, most Corsa Bs and novas

Ok mate, will do. Anybody else got any input? Do they come in standard cav SRi's? Seen a couple for sale for pennies. Would be ok once rebuilt.

autoparts in bonnybrige have a few in just now, thats where MMV go for there XE's

Where did you get your conversion done or did you buy the car like that? Seen you in Stirling a few times before.
