hey, me mate has just bought a corsa c for 1500quid and its done 45k Y reg but it needed a bit of work.

my idea is to buy a newish car thats been involved in an accident and just needs a new wing/bonnet/bumper or something like that and repair it myself(to cut the costs down). i know that the autotrader has like a salvage/crashed section but doesn't have this area on thier website, i was wondering if any of you knew if there was a website where they sell cars like this, a site where i can see a pic and list all the damage.

I know a few people that do this on a weekly basis just to fix up then sell for some extra cash

I'll give them a quick buzz

It might not just be a case of needing "a new wing/bonnet/bumper or something like that"

yeah matt i've been looking around and seen that it aint just a case of that, however i'm not gonna go for something that i cant do myself. obviously it will need spraying etc but if the engine hasn't moved and its mostly cosmetic damage then, touch wood i'll be ok! also what about stolen/recovered motors anybody know a site for them?
