Anyone use the credit union?

mate just put in £250 and they gave him a £1000 loan at 1% interest!

sounds good to me!
but there must be a catch along the way somewhere surely?!?

please discuss as my car needs a respray badly!

Its 1% a month, but not 12% a year
Im not exact on details but i do know for a fact that you pay interest only on what is outstanding, not what you originally borrowed.

Parents have borrowed twice to buy cars and also house improvements and have no problem paying back the loan before gettinga new one

but i do think the old man puts back about £60 a week
