I'm off to stoke today to hopefully buy a corsa GSi off of Stubbsy.
leaving southampton in 20 mins time and hopefully get there before the traffic gets shit around birmingham!
i'll post pics and become a premium member tomorrow if i get it, fingers crossed.
gotta do the paperclip test though first caus the engine mamagement light aparantly comes on, rises to 2000rpm on idle when it comes on, jus be an idle sensor then hopefully.
fingers crossed, 3 hours journey there and back, hope its a minter and not a munter!!

mine used to idle high, never found the cause, iv heard of loads that do it, might just be the IACV
watch your ass though, i heard stubbsy likes the cock

holy crap it took me 3 hours in a tranny van to get to london from brum and the traffic wasnt there thankfully so you got at least 4hr 30mins! lol I hope for your sanity its a goodun!

who said 4 hrs plus - I regularly do the drive(at uni in Southampton - but live up near Stoke) and it takes 2hrs35 depending on when u leave - average time is 3hrs

Sold to me and i'm so happy.
just had it taken down to regal for a new breather pipe caus it was split and pissin out oil when i booted it. only lost quarter of an engine load before i got home and stubbsy kindly donated some oil (cheers mate)
also had new sparks and plugs put in as it had a misfire and now its quick as french connection!!!!
loving it and gettin looks off people, dunno wot there thinking though???!!!
jus bout to leave home and pick up my girl from college, probably not gonna show off when i drive off.
Stubbsy : i crapped it last nite, i walked upto the car and it went 'bleep bleep bleep'!!! didn't know it had a sensor on the alarm, but its funny watching people jump as they get near it!!
next mod is a Veccy V6 ramair filter, oil filter with oil change and plenty of redex!!!!!!
I'll keep you all posted on mods.
