How often do tb's suitable for c20xe'd corsas come along second hand? What sort of price, all in, would i be realistically looking at for around the 200bhp mark including rolling road setup? Any info/tips or general suggestions too!?  And any idea what sort of insurance increase it would be? Sorry about all the questions, just exploring all the possibilities of the new project, which might include ditching the ICE in the boot and more power

You'll be looking at £2000 all set up and running.
S/h they range from 1000-1500, but you're getting someone elses' old stuff, and not the components you want.
Personally I think
emerald ecu - £650
QED DTH bodies - £520
pipercross airfilter - £80
(from proven products)
Jenvey 40x45mm trumpets - £70
Then use the injectors you have, get a coil pack from a 2L ecotec engine, and a fuel pressure reg, FSE or what ever.
Insurance wise you'll be looking at a +50BHP and lots of boxes ticked. Last yrs was 1100 for 21 9pts and 1yrNCB

isnt yours the 180bhp kit? I'd like to get around 200, but as i said, only just started thinking about it. Is yours more tuneable? How much did you want for it?

there's a set on mig at the mo, or there was last week, at £1400.
you'd probably need to spend a bit on the little extras that you're bound to need to complete the kit, and then probably £300+ to have them all set up and everything.
