Last Friday I had a day off work and was driving into the city to do some shoppin with a mate.
Anyway, Driving through a 50mph limit road, a car in front is turning right so I have to stop behind it. I'm stationary when the car behind only sees that I have stopped at the last minute and locks up on the brakes hitting me in the back!!
The car could only be moved a few metres into a pub carpark. The impact has damaged and crushed the moot floor and the drivers side rear quater up to the drivers door. THink some of the suspesnion is knackered too! The guy at Vauxhall thinks its looking like a write off.
The woman has accepted it was fully her fault and I have a witness.
I'd only put it in Auto Trader on Friday too, and had someone phone up about it today too!!
Oh and dealing with my insurance company (HIC), has been an absolute nightmare.
Just thought I'd share that with you. Me and my mate who were in the car are off work at the mo with neck pains

Have you had problems with HIC? They've been a bunch of monkeys so far.

not been insured with HIC mate, or claimed (touch wood) so i wouldnt know

I'm insured with HIC, had an accident when a old lady drove into me, she accepted responsibility and her insurace company sent me a letter accepting fault 2 days later.
Accident on 14/11/04 - Still awaiting insurance check!!!!
