Yesterday I got an answermachine message but the person just hung up and didn't leave a message.

I listened to it and deleted it, also listened to and deleted the emails i had.

But the symbol at the top of the screen (to tell me I have an answer machine msg) is still showing, but there isn't anything in there.

Anyone know how I can get rid of it?

call answer phone and let it say "no new messages" look at screen and it should go off then hang up

sometimes the singal never gets to the phone that you dont have voice mail.

go to WAP inbox and or missed calls etc, sometimes they get rid of things

think its at the top in the black bit, near the power button

but i could be wrong

ive tried doing that, and switching off etc

I had this once on a nokia mmany moons ago - I phoned up customer services and they removed it.

Try switching it off and then taking out the sim card.... then put it back in and reload the phone.

What network are you on anyway? The voicemail symbol never comes up for me on Vodafone...
