do these people pick premium add-ons out of a hat or something when you ring up to declare mods?
rang up a 2 month or so ago and asked how much extra it would be for a front spoiler. she quoted me a price and i said cheers I'd inform them when it was done.
Got this put on not long ago, along with my facelift headlights and a irmscher twin round exhaust, so rang them up to declare them all this morning.
"There is no additional charge for these items" 
"Hows thats? I was given an addon price 2 months ago for my front spoiler"
"It depends on the modification, some you dont get charged for?"
I mean Im not complaining, but how can they charge an add-on for it one month, then say its nowt the next?! bizarre.

Perhaps its because you've installed OEM vaux/irmscher parts?

Didnt ask for any of the makes though mate. On any of the products. Cant work it out personally like.

They were wierd with me too .
I phoned up and asked for a quote on fitting a suspension kit to my car , and they told me that it wouldnt add anything .
Next day I phoned back because I had forgotten the quote , but this time they said I wasn't old enough to have a lowered car
