Just get it reflashed. Easiest way is to take it to CPW and say that the phone crashes and restarts at times. If the CPW has an engineer in the house. Then times it just take a few hours. So you leave it there, come back later and sorted. If not it will have to be sent back to Sony to be firmware updated and presto.

Normally if CPW cant do it in house then its just a hassle for some MP3 ringtones. So not really worth the wait unless if it bugs you that much.
