Ive just bought some duco impact oil which cost me no more than 3 pounds for a gallon. The engine has not been in the car long, about 2 days....and im hoping to do an oil/filter change tommorow.
My question is, will this stuff work ok in a 1995 corsa 1.2 8v? anyone else had this oil?

It's cheap mineral oil 20w-50. it's gives poor cold start protection cause it's so thick, and will orb power as it's so thick, go buy some 10w-40 semi lik eGTX or halfrauds semisyn stuff for it. Thats' what vauxhall recommends.
