have, but im just thinking if somewhere like Focus etc would do something like this

im basically making two RF shields to sit in between my new studio monitors (speakers) and my monitor, as when i have them on it causes my screen to jump

anyone know the rough cost of steel sheeting as well? im guessing it will be about 30 quid touch?

Sheet metal workers is gonna be best bet, they are bound to have some offcuts lying about that they'll let you have for a bit of cash in hand.

we buy it in bulk m8, unfort so its not easy to say........ if i was u id have a ring round a few engineering places and ask..... should be that expensive at all.... u will prob find that b n q is a cheap low grade stainless, but if u pay around 30 from an engineering place you ll get a better grade of steel.......and possabaly a choice of thickness to whereas b n q will be a set size etc etc

tbh, all i need it for is to create a sheilding inbetween my monitor and speakers thats gonna get earth, so thickness isnt a problem really

Dom, do you know Top Gear in Flitwick? They sell sheet steel for welding ect....

Or there used to be a steel place near the train station in Bedford (not the main station, the little shitty one under the bridge near the hospital) but they moved and i dont know where to. (loads of help) I think they are called Myler steel.
