its the easist way to hack into an account. I would put money on thats the way they did it. unless you password was something even easier

Its not easy to hack into accounts. "Hack" isnt even the right word, as you can guess hackers wouldnt bother with small hotmail accounts.

Whoever is on your account either figured out your secret answer (by knowing your dads middle name) or because they know your password already.

speak to msn and delete the account.. note your contacts list and ask those on it to block the old one and open a new one with a better password

This happened to my mate, he contacted hotmail and they re set his account so that he could type in a new password and secret question and answer. It took a couple of weeks though iirc

This is not hacking, this is looking for all the R Platts in Stockport and finding the middle initial, then a bit of guess work.

Out of interest, did you change your CS password to something more secure as well?
