Want to go to Oz after university in June for a month or two. Can anyone recommend places to stay etc. I defo want to go to Sydney and barrier reef. I am a bit worried it might be a bit cold as it's their winter when i will go. Any advice would be fantastic.
Thanks

I've been to Sydney and Canberra
Canberra isn't very 'happening' Mostly political stuff.
Sydney on the other hand is quality. Did all the toursit stuff like going to the Imax, Sydney Motor Show, China Town, and all that. You can walk over the Harbour bridge if you book well in advance. Took a boat ride to Manly I think it was. That was pretty nice Also went to Bondi Beach. Visited the beach where Home and Away is filmed
Blue Mountains are worth a visit. They have the steepest railway thing in the world. Not as exciting as it sounds though
Went to Old Sydney Town which isn't really anywhere near Sydney.
Also visited Port Stephens and did a spot of Whale or Dolphin watching, I forget which
I wanna go back I have family that live in Blacktown
Australia is well worth a visit!
