am gonna be fitting an inlet manifold this week end, just rang insuracne company who said when i took the policy out i could to engine modifactions but as long as i told them, just rang and they've said i can do any modifactions with no extra charge except engine and they said if i put it on, they will cancle my policy....

anyone else had this prob with liverpool vic?

Tell them its a non standard part but does not give a power increase

on mine its covered as an inlet modification, like an induction kit

also liv vic are totally shit, ringthem back speak to osmone else and they will let you do it for free. then they will give you a reduction then they will cancel your policy

Insurance is stupid !! I got a quote of £1150 on a standard GSI worth £1800 the other day !! Nearly fell off my seat......until i realised i can afford neither !!!

Do they realise that your car needs an inlet manifold to work?

They seem pretty thick to me.
