Nokia data cables are about £35-£40
and i know i can get Bluetooth Donlges for about £14-£15.

I use a cradle but my phone came with one so 
If it didnt bluetooth dongle as its cheap as chips and has many uses

Where do you get the bluetooth and IR things from checked PC world, Curry's, Dixons etc, is it just phone places like carphone warehouse etc?

you can buy bluetooth dongles anywhere But best bet is to get one off ebay as there only a tenner or so - otherwise you'll be like me and get stung by pc world for 36 quid for a dongle 
but personally, if you can get a data cable for your phone then do it because its alot lot faster, as it took me about 40mins to transfer a 4meg file to my 6600 using bluetooth

Yep bluetooth.
I had a choice of the belkin 100m £20 one or a £18 one on ebay with a cd full of software pics games themes etc etc but the dongle looked a bit cheap. Anyway went for the ebay one... and its excellent !

personally for mp3s and large files onto my fone....id use a card reader...... (for 3650,7610,sony fones, 6230, 6600 etc)

Mine came from PC World.
But I use bluetooth, as the IR in my laptop plays up.
