my girlfriends ex's friend.
when my g/f was going out with her ex, his best friend was hittin on her all the time and the two fell out big time. but since she finished him they became friends but since august the lad trys to pull her all the time. so ive been with her for a couple of months and its really starting to annoy me but its also a laugh at the same time.
he texts her about once a fornight now say the exact same thing everytime which goes along like "hey, i havnt heard from you in a bit. how are you? you still got a boyfriend? im ok i guess, had better times tho, any way text bk xxxx" since being with me she has always text bk sayin shes happily with someone to him and she wont hear from him for about two weeks again. but he wont get the message that she doesnt like him as a friend and would never consider a boyfriend. shes told him no end of times but he wont listen.
so any reccomendations on how to get the point that shes with someone and doesnt like him
thanks

aslong as she texts him he sees it as some kind of lifeline that theres contact and there's still a chance, i know she doesnt text him often, but best thing to do is never to reply to him, iv been in exact same siutation with an ex's mate (only hes married with kids lol ), its the best way, he'll get the message eventually

we both laugh about it because its petty stuff like "you could do with a better person, im still single" so we have a laugh but it gets annoying when we try to have a night alone together and he texts her or if we are in town hes there and will look all sad tryin to make her feel sorry for him. but she tells me all the time that its pathectic and always lets me read the messages. we have alot of trust in our relation so i kno shes not doing owt with him.

In that case, tell her to fuck him off, say it's irritating you. If she says you're being overprotective just say that you care about her a lot and you don't think it's right for him to be texting her basically trying to split you up. No point speaking to him as he'll either deny it or become hostile. Or both.

this is it, she's basically told him to fuck off, but more like "jamie, im happily with someone, i dont think i would ever go out with you anyway"
but he wont get the message
i think we'll just not txt back to him again he might get the point then as lynny said

just tell her to have no contact, what about changing the mobile number?
