got a new engine for the cav
but the clutch looks rusty
now it looks like the plates have some life left in them so if i left it on would the engine have enuff torque to free it ?

hard to say. atleast if its with any box except the f28 you can take the cover off and fit a clutch without removing the box. clutches are what? 65 from motor factors? change it before if you want to be safe

but no alignment tool 
can it be done by sight?

with the engine out??? ive never aligned a clutch, just fitted them. maybe im doing it wrong then, lol. havent ever gone through one though

ill whack it on and see if its free's ok.. if not then ill be changed
i just want it running, ill give it a tap with a hammer before i fit it
