i have driven many a mk 4 and found them very uninspiring, heavy and clumsy, good build quality but lacks insipiration

also had many an experience up the strip with a certain mk4 TDI

they a fast for a deisel to be fair, your comparing them to high performace petrol cars, where theres only going too be one winner

thats what im saying, the ASZ and all its versions are fantastic engines, so are the smaller AMF

they are not a performance car by far , i didnt say that , i just stated they were quick for diesels and great cars which they are, defo reccomend one to anyone for driving every day like i do

mk4 130bhp diesels would probably be closer to 140-145 on standard

My mates have got botrh the 130 and 150 and the 130 is just as quick in 1st and 2nd gear as my old Audi A3 Turbo! Never really g0ot up to motorway speeds though so can't comment there.

Handling was also the same as the Audi..Wobbly
