I had an accident in October (not my fault) and was told it could take up to a year for the claim to get sorted. But just had a letter this morning saying that other company have accepted liability and my ncb has been re-instated. Its only been about 6 weeks!! Im well happy, I was expecting it to be a right pain in the backside but it hasnt. All I did was contact the insurance company when it first happened, they organised everything, even who was gonna do repairs. They said i could take it to a garage of my choice, but the guy at their garage who had to do the quote said he would do some extra work on the car cos we already had a wing & rear quater for it. And since i got car back (which took less than a fortnight) I hadnt heard anything till this morning. Was expecting loads of crappy forms to fill in & stuff so I'm well impressed that its been sorted already! Especially since the car looks so much better now than before the crash & i didnt have to spend nearly as much as I would have to get the work done normally!!
