£300 - bolt straight on and give about 190 bhp! 0-60 in 3 seconds. You can get one Here

If it's just a bolt on job, then up to 1500, but if you want full forged bottom end, steel rods, big T3 blower and 400BHP then ecxpect in the region of 6,000

tho not a turbo i got me supercharger off me mum's old dyson... had rid of me airbox and bolted it on after a fair bit of work.
all good now as me 'beast' of a supercharged pocket rocket will beat any car that dares try.

better low end torque in a 8v,so it pulls well all the way till the turbo kicks in
heres what u'll need for a basic decent and safe(at low psi) turbo set up
turbo,t3 or similar i'd look at sommert like a ct9a/b turbo found on the jdm toyota starlet gt turbo and Glanza V (can be picked up cheap
custom fabricated manifold for the turbo
intercooler
wastegate
blow off valve
some sort of engine management
charge piping
running a bout 5 psi of boost
but if yo want power, forge low comp pistons,re ground crank, forge rods, copper head gasket are the way forward, but wont be cheap

Or you could supercharge the engine... If you look on eBay there are quite a few superchargers for sale. I think that there are turbo kits for the 1.6 16v available. They are low boost, until you replace the injectors and pistons though.
