Todays victim - Subaru Impreza

not sure on which model it was but it was K reg & silver, definatley turbo'd

was at the traffic light going home from dropping our saturday lass off after a trip to Meadowhell & im next to a 1.5D corsa & i notice something with quitw bright lights pull up behind me. was abit dazzled at first but then after abit of squinting i saw the scooby vent & realised what it was. had a quick spy in the mirrors to make sure that there were no coppers behind it & as soon as I looked forward again the lights went amber.

I set off not fully flooring it just so i could get infront of the diesel corsa & then let the scooby have the other lane. then when i realised he wanted to play I floored it & we were both really going for it. I was ahead of him until i went to go into 3rd & messed up the gear change but even though i fucked up he couldn't get away from me. if I had got 3rd right he would have never have got ahead.

we carried on down the road i knew that we would be going for it again further along the same road as the road opens up perfectly for a good race. (this is the same bit of road where i beat that RX7 not so long ago)
just before it opens up we both got stuck behind a focus & i was trying to stay in 2nd but i was at about 5k revs & there was a car coming the other way. i changed to 3rd & even though i'd gone into a higher gear i still had enough torque to take me through the revs quick enough to stay on his arse & by the time i'd gone into 5th i had to start braking so i didnt go into the back of him! if it had been a side by side race from a standing start i think i'd have had him totally

There wasn't really a winner or a loser i supose but i definatley think he was abit shocked

another point for the corsa team
