Doh......

Came off a round about sideways fullthrottle... got it straight and BOOM

Very loud bang, and lost all power, engine died..... coasted to the side of the road (single carigeway) and put my hazzards on....

I had a suspision what it was, but it sounded quite severe from incar

GOt out, investigated..... I'd blown the post FMIC to TB pipe off (ross, i blame you again)

Took about 20mins to fix as it was a right pain in the cooncil gritter to get at

Only happened at 0.8bar too :/

Thats every single turbo'd car i've done this on now!!!

ps..... i went up a road sideways on Fri night...... fullthrottle in 2nd again.... in the dark.... bangoed it off the limiter and litup the back of the car yeeehaaa

does this when you hold it a 3k in 2nd for a while then boot it...... brrrrr BANG..... pops on overrun too

The boost pipe from turbo to intercooler on my Cupra blew off half way down the Crail strip. ha ha ha.

The P GT has a habit of that its running alot more boost than the skyline tho...

Think its going to be up for sale soon

Similar thing happened on mine , came off a roundabout planted it with some Evo , allmighty bang (was like oh shit theres the tip gone) Limped home and turned out to be boost hose came off (10psi), safe to say it now has 3 cable ties attaching it

this happened to ma m8's glanza v at crail was rather funny to watch, he shit his pants tho went 1st full boost 2nd boost the psssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh nuthin lol

3/4" wide
