every 2 seconds a pop up appers in the top left corner sayin your isp does not support caller on hold?iam on dialup and no one knows my number !!!!!!!!!!!!!! any ideas?????????its really pi??in me off

possibly you have a V92 modem , these were designed so that if you had a call come in while you were on the internet it would tell you allowing you to disconnect.

but shouldnt happen all the time only when you get calls
