leni its actually against the law to stop for certain animals, especially game animals such as pheasants, deer etc etc, otherwise it can be seen that you deliberately hit the animal to increase financial gain or to simply eat it.

actually it is illegal to eat your own road kill, but the car behind you is quite legal to pick up the road kill and take it home and eat it

Back to the original topic....
Someone ran into the back of my dad not so long ago, which then caused him to hit the person in front of him.
It's the person at the very back who takes all blame.
All cars can be stopped in a queue of traffic, but if someone hits the back it is only them at fault. (it can be like dominoes, sends one car into the next).
How could you possibly be blamed if you are sitting stationary in the middle of a line of traffic when you are pushed from the car behind?

Your claim is off the person behind you not the person at the back, how could you claim off someone who didnt hit you?
It is then upto the person that hit you to prove that it was caused by the cra that hit him and then to claim off then.
That said your insurance company should sort it all out for you.
You will have to pay your excess and initially lose your no claims but once the case is settled you will get both back!
