Just got the following email asking me to confirm my request to join a mailing list I've never heard of.
I don't want to click the links incase they're dodgy, but if it's just dodgy spam then how did it know that I shorten my name to Dav? Strange...

Mailing list subscription confirmation notice for mailing list
dav-announce

We have received a request from 195.92.168.167 for subscription of
your email address to the
dav-announce@lyra.org mailing list. To confirm that you want to be
added to this mailing list, simply reply to this message, keeping the
Subject: header intact. Or visit this web page:

http://dav.lyra.org/mailman/confirm/dav-announce/7832ef20da69308451c2d75517752c253bc25eaa

Or include the following line -- and only the following line -- in a
message to dav-announce-request@lyra.org:

    confirm 7832ef20da69308451c2d75517752c253bc25eaa

Note that simply sending a `reply' to this message should work from
most mail readers, since that usually leaves the Subject: line in the
right form (additional "Re:" text in the Subject: is okay).

If you do not wish to be subscribed from this list, please simply
disregard this message. If you think you are being maliciously
subscribed to the list, or have any other questions, send them to
dav-announce-owner@lyra.org.
