want something with some poke want it to be fairly new bearing in mind i recently insured a nova 1.4 sri 8v and it cost me 1800 due to my points/offenced etc. so i was thinkin maybe a saxo or pegeuot 106 gti. i want something new cos i want it to be reliable. naybe golf mk4 im only 19 and will get a loan out soon to get it. i get 1 years no claims bonus and the guy on phone said it shoulddrop by 30% any suggestions?

f a .4sri 8v was £1800 insurance... a 106gti will rape you worse tan quotes for a cosa gsi...

you'd be best with a cheap-o 1ltr box on wheels to build up some NCB before you think bout ANYTHING more than goup 7 insurance wise...

Well a Mk4 golf isn't fast by any means.

How's about's a 1.6 Sport?

or the current flavour of the month, a 2.2 Astra Coupe?
