Gone through my 3rd vibe sub now in 5 months tried the ac series, the enclosures, 10", 12", 15",... Well wicked for about a month, then POOF dead...
Had them wired up perfectly to the perfect amps...
my last two 10's both blow up when i listened to Graham Torington on the radio. i know his voice goes deep, but blowing two subs takes the mike
Just seeing if anyone else has had any problems with vibe stuff? It was the voice coil that was melting on all of them. Defo aint getting that rubbish again...

Dont they have a built in cross over on the 6x9's? Were yours amped up or running off head unit?

What have you got now, still got them Vibe ones or did u get new ones. I got some rubbish pioneer jobbies, up to an amp, and they sound well good. Play it stupidly loud all the time and no problems there.

it sounds like distortion that killing them mate - so either you waking it to high on your HU, or your gains are up too high on your amp, or your amp is underpowering and when you turn it up the amp start to dsitort.
if its not one of the box jobbies (aka: sperate amp and sub) then make sure the amp is 50-100wRMS more than the sub needs. Then turn the gains down abit to stop distortion when play it loud
Also, remember to run your sub in properly - ie: play it at low volumes for about a month to two months

my nextdoor neighbour is richer than the beckhams
but seriously, vibe are alright for a start, better than some of the shite halfords sell although, if you've had multiple burnt coils then i would start looking at your amp/HU and maybe hire out a oscilloscope and see if anything is distorting
