It probably wont interest many of you unless you like your American cars/trucks.

Ford are talking about disbanded its Special Vehicle Team (SVT) which are responsible for vehicles such as these:
Mustang GT


Mustang SVT



And of course the SVT Lightning (worlds fastest production pick-up 1999-2004)


And as of 2006 were due to be responsible for this


A petition has already been started by the SVT fans in the USA and if enough names are added Ford will use these in consideration when it comes to the final word on SVT's future.

All i'm asking is you take a couple of mins to sign the petition HERE

Never mind the fact "its only Ford so who cares" SVT is a much admired force the world over and produced a 2.5ton truck that can snap the heels of a Porsche 911 and with a few minor mods can tear down the strip in 11 secs, good going in anyones game.

If you do it then thank you.

Ford have already been astounded by the number of letters/faxes since announcing their plans so your time wont be wasted.

If you have to leave a comment on the petition then make it a decent one.

true it would be a shame to see car's like tht go - ain't really into american muscle cars but some are very impressive including the new GT40 which i would imagine this team must of had something to do with....
