getting same pay as in office, but they want me to understand how they build the frames i draw, so i going to help put up a house.

typical luck tho, its gonna be over winter

big difference to what i'm used to i.e: manual work....

builders seem a laugh tho

i have worked on a building site before between jobs and that is the most fun ever i have had , and if its durring the winter when it rains you go home

Sweet Dude, you office boyos need site visits/experience to understand what goes on a bit better, then you can make life easier for the builder too, for example, using 30ishmm wide floor joists, yes they might make the span but try nailing plasterboard to the underside of the fookers, 50mm min lol

we use 45mm @ 400mm c/c

My lil bro is 2 years into apprentice as a builder and apart from gettin up early towork in London he loves it! reckons its a right laugh!
