i really really wanna start racing just grass tracks or hill climbs anything...any1 do this and have info from round essex region? or anywhere really?

hello mate,
im studying motorsport at uni and have raced in the 750 motor club in the past.
basically just search the net for what you want, 750 motor club are good and grass track, stock cars, hill climb is the cheapest wasy to start! When you start racing circuits like brands the entrance fees are large!
You will also probably need a liscence 2

No motorsport is cheap no matter what peeps say I have raced on short circuit ovals (stock car tracks) and had ago at professional karting major wallet busters.

but as brad said just do a web search there is loads of sites

it all depends what you do, i have raced karts, and kit cars in the 750 motor club but again it wasnt my car!
id say buy a cheap kit car and go racing in the 1600cc class!

A friend races formula ford zetecs were down at brands all weekend fo the festival! going to be good!

When i was karting the cost per weeken racing worked out to about £300 at the very least. would like to look into 750 club what are people running?

i was using 1 of dads kit cars,
1600 on twin carbs pics in my garage!
We just ran it for 4 races so i could drive and to see how the car went!

yes arena was run by spedworth international but just looked on there site and the track is not listed. I know the shale track is still used for speedway.

speedworth is ipswich and another track!
Ipswich is my local oval track!
id say go hillclimbing etc!
or motocross, lots of fun and very cheap!

I ran 2 seasons on the same bike and parts came to no more than £700 for 2 years

i have a friend who is an up and coming rally star.......he's a year younger than me, but would of love to of done what he has done.
