probably not alot..

they will have just got the 1/4 mile times and used java script or whatever to make that block go across in x seconds.

if you look at some cars though they are equal with one another for half the run then one pulls away so its not just done over x amopunt of seconds, acceleration has come into account thru gears too by the looks of it
