Just wondering wat everyone gets in the 2.0 16v petrol wise

im gettin about 150-160 miles to £20.00 think thats quite good considering i like to give it some to put a nice big grin on my face!

thats quite good. fill the car up then drive then fill up again and see how many miles your getting.

Surely if anything, the consumption for a valver in a Corsa would be better than that of the same engine in a Cavalier or Calibra?

well i have had the 2ltr in my car for a few month now (money related but back on the road mid october )
havent done any miles on it yet apart from the odd excursion on a private road in the middle of my town (haha)
but i was wondering that myself

i would say thats pretty good miles for 20 quid like even if uve been given it death !!

I put £20 in on Friday when light was on,done two motorway trips, averaging about 90mph on both of them and a bit of urban driving and light has just come on after 190miles. Can't really argue with that, heavy acceleration and general messing about can nearly halve that though.

300+ for a tank of optimax..... 37quid or so i think

200 if its driven hard all the time

with the LET its a different story im filling up soooo many times with that bloody car my fault i guess for having a heavy right foot

i guess if i drove it normally i would get around 200(ish)

get roughly 330-350ish miles out of a full tank

out of £20 i usually get around 220ish and i drive it hard

My valver does about 22-25 to the gallon


pretty shit really, when u consider that my Del Sol SiR is A) faster and B) does about 33 to the gallon

140 miles out of £20 in my LET And that was all motorway driving (altho did include a couple of top speed runs )

I drive from Oxford to Cornwall and 3/4 of the way back on a tankful.

I stick to 75 ish and get 40-43mpg

from when the light is on, i put 20quid in, only really drive to and from work, not really any traffic or anything.

the light comes on at about 130-170max

and i'm in a 1.4 sport.

i need a valver or a let
