Lately ive seen sum cars that hav the above sound but the cars hav been like lupo GTI,mini cooper and a corsa all with standard zaust,jus wondering how they did it?
it cud be discribed as being very airy but not a raspy boy racer noice,more like a big 5ltr

Your never going to get a flat 4 to sound like a V8 on carbs.

I would suggest actually going to a classic car show and listening to a Mustang or something. They sound nothing like a 1600cc 4 banger.

Infact, a Peco Bogbore 4 and a K&N will do the trick... For the finishing touches get some neon washer jets...

My Corsa sounds like a muscle car... maybe because it DOES have a V8 under the hood.

Motorsport proven of course.
