you can change your air fuel ratios, advance and retard ignition timing, can also take off speed limiters from jap import models, and decrease or increase the RPM of which Vtec will kick in

The VAFC can change the V-tec engagement point, but cant put more fuel than the car can manage, u may need to get bigger injectors fo that kind of thing.
They are amazing cars, 100bhp per litre, what other car let alone hatch can produce that kinda power.
There rev happy and sound amazing, handle amazing and last forever.
Also if they go wrong (as if) they are easy and cheap to fix.
Honda all the way!

and dont lower the v-tec engagement point unless your running a serious setup and are sure the oil is up to temp.
Another thing, people are often very quick to point out the lack of torque that the B series engine has, this is irrelivant.

And yes hondarevolutions is a great forum :-)

im on honda rev too mate, the V-afc controls fuel air and vtec, unlike many vtec controllers which just alter the vtec cut in point, its the one to go for, apexi one.

But seriously i didnt realise the apexi one could change fuel and air ratio.
There was a post on honda R about this some time ago, shows how much info i take in

yeah there are plenty of posts about vtec controllers, the one to g ofor is the apexi V-AFC or the apexi V-AFC II both are good, the V-AFC has a refined design.
