only 1.0 12v against 1.2 8V some of u may not be interested in us lowlife

went out down the docks with a few lads to check out a spot for a big cruise we had planned....with a great road for a quater miles run.... so about 8 cars went down and stayed down there.


there was a chap in a GT starlet giving his mate a go in his car and when his mate came back he was going on how fast it was so he went to have another shot in it.

there was another fella there in a prelude 2.2 vtec and he set of in persuit so that started our little drag racing session 2 mini's that had turned up raced each other then..... then there was me and me mate... we both drive corsa's he has a 1.0 12v i have a 1.2 8v...

i didnt wanna race at all cos he clutch is fecked but they all kept jeering me so i had to have a go...... got a car length through first... then another 3 by the end of second... i couldnt believe it by the end i was about 5 car lengths up

roll on my 1.6 conversion... i challenged a VTS for when i have the new engine in.

i always wondered wot the big deal was with quater mile racing... but i think i'm hooked now

its not a standard 1.6 engine... trust me... plus yer man is a kid driving the VTS too.

im not stupid.. i know in normal circumstances a VTS would piss on a GSI.

you 1.6 engine will kee pwith a vts but wont go past it.

depends on the driver, i can pull ahead of ones with exhaust and iduction kit, but very very slowly, some beat me and pull ahead slowly.....depends really

this VTS is factory standard.... but it did look quick last night......

the engne i have is a c16XE with mantzell power box, ARP rod bolts, sdb idlers and unchip 7500 Rev limit.

hopefull it will be sumthing the same.

plan to rebild it next year with some serious internal modz
