ok , when i bought the gsi it had no clocks , so today a m8 of mine works at scrap yard, and a corsa d come in , so he took clocks off and give them me, ive put them in the gsi but rev counter seems not to work right. will it do for a while or will i need the ones off the gsi? ta

You don't need a rev counter, so yes.
