2-2.5" is the norm I believe

2.25 - 2.75 is ideal, ie. Group-A spec.

im getting a full stainless 2 1/4" bore system fitted on the 9th, was told thats the ideal bore for the XE, and 2 1/2" for the LET.

i got a 2.75 and sounds so good its a full grp a rally system dont half pop and bang
