On the center consol there are the 3 knobs which control the heat and power ect. I want to respray these but on the middle one with the rear heater symbol on. Is there a way of removing the little yellow symbol.?

Nope! it's well and truely glued in

Best bet is to mask it off

try using blu-tac to mask it off
