need to make a sub box for erm a sub but its in a tight space behind the drives seat in my MR2.

need to know what sive box i need for an 8inch sub!

Depends what kind of enclosure you want. Sealed will be the smallest.

For optimum size you need to look at the datasheet for the sub and it should tell you the idea volume...

Edit: Oh, and when designing the dimensions of the box to make the required volume, don't forget the back of the speaker takes up some room inside the box... Can be roughly approximated but worth noting (8" is usually about 0.3 ft^3)
