on the way to blackburn yesterday 2 watch footy and heading towards the motorway on some roads between the m6 and warrington. was goin up this hill on a dual carrige way round a corner then saw the markings on the road , hit the brakes but didnt hit em hard enough though thinking back, i think i was doing 75ish. The thing is ive got size 16 wheels so how much will that put my speedo out by and i hit brakes and i never noticed the camera or it flash. av i been done or not.
that bloody camera was well hidden, think im gona have to go get a road angel now watever the outcome.

so from what you say, your speedo reads less than what you're doing with bigger wheels, so you were going faster than you thought through that camera, if it was in a crap place they might have taken it away and left the markings on the road.
you could probably even get out of it by claiming it was hidden, they're not allowed to put them on corners/behind trees/signs etc anymore.

You can argue it but if your speedo is out its your responsibility to have it re-calibrated. If his speedo was readin 75 then the chances of it being more than a few mph out is minimal. 16's wouldnt make a difference the smaller tyre would make it almost the same rolling radius as standard.

That's assuming your speedo was correct in the first place. My car's on standard wheels and the speedo reads about 78mph when the Laguna's reading 70mph. It needs calibrating, but it's money I don't have.

If it was dark then you would notice the flash, if it was daylight then i doubt you would.
