Right me mothers moving out and i will be having the house and i need a cheaper car so my options are.

Needs to be Eco friendly and a bit of oomph

I would say the 172 as you know if you get the ITR then you are gonna wanna do a fair few mods to it aswell as the engine like!

The 172 will provide the best service will be quick and look good and you are not as likely to mod!
