I'm thinking of selling my base 96 Corsa B 1.4 8v Hi Tq and getting a 2001/02 Corsa C Sxi 1.2 16v but I don't want to go down performance.
On paper the 1.2 16v is better but with the C being heavier does this give a decrease in performance? I'd go for the 1.4 sxi but I prefer the styling of the older model C and its outa my budget.
I'd really apreciate some opinions. Cheers

Thing is I want a C not a B.
One like this, same colour but fully colour coded.

This is what I'll be getting rid of:

Too many doors, wrong colour and generally under spec'd. Time for a relacement.

1.2 16v is 65/75bhp depending on what mark Corsa you get.
I would get at least a 1.4 16v, don't bother wasting any money on a 1.2 16v.

if your going for a 1.2 Sxi i suggest subtle styling (smaller wheels 16's)
get the exhaust done and ind kit,
get new bonnet and chuck out rear seats.
and it will be fairly quick..
