If you have a contract it should tell you on there....mine is 1 week for every year ive been there

ask them maybe?

you dont techniclly need to give any notice whatsoever, but they might not pay you any holiday hour you have outstanding etc

i work for Royal Mail. haven't got a clue how much notice you need to give, but i'd guess 4 weeks too

no i've worked part time from an angency just for 1 day was hell!, never got paid full amount! 1st day was given 8 bags of mail full to deliver, hardly lift them, dumped in different loactions around the town, which i had never been 2 before so didn't know my way around, was on foot!, go deliver them see u at 5pm they said, 5pm comes i had done 5 out of the 8 bags ring to be collected no one comes down, ring old man, he picks me up we dump the bags at the depo he has a rite go at the guy in charge, never again..
