my mates G reg golf GTI has got 200k on the clock !! and is still fast as fuck and as fit as a fiddle "!!!!

I'm on 105K now on a 1.2 8v. Done 5K in the last 2 months and its running better than ever. Think its time for a timing belt though, 36K in 2 years!

Its not the engine you want to worry about at 100K, its the rest of the car. Bushes start to go, suspension, exhaust.....
