Well what a day, convoyed up with a few people from the vxlscc, one a 3.0 v6 mk 2 astra, another a v6 calibra, another c20let corsa (C2 VXL) and a astra mk 5 gsi!
Got to the pod saw the let corsa run a 14.9 but misses 3rd gear
the astra v6 ran a 13.9
the calibra ran a 16.6
so thought my turn now!
got about 8 cars from the start and it rained, then it preceded to rain on and off for the next 3 hours!! Was gutted but i got a refund!
Nice to see jr and his mates - sorry lads forgot your names!!
best part of the day:
a mechanic not owning this 1.9 205 gti took it for a spin up the road to start, floored it in 1st, 2nd then 3rd hitting the limiter in each gear!
Then bang, im unsure of what happened but this guy ended up spaking into the armco and writing the poor 205 of at probably 60-80 mph!!
had a good drive home with a few novas i had a play with and a series 1 rst!!

very poor even with the missed gear - seems craigs ran 13.8 - a missed gear couldn't have lost him over a second
