Right, ive finally got round to getting some paint on the mirrors i was smoothing in, they're on the car and im glad to say they didnt flex or crack when tightening them up - they might only last days before they crack, hope not, but they were coming off ifi didnt smooth them in anyway.

A quick pic i took yesterday in the rain - will get better ones shortly.

They look better than mine, cos the C base plates are less bulky
