on my way to the girlfriends this mornin, travelling along a single lane road, went around a blind bend and there was a 8wheel lorry other side, slammed on brakes but didnt stop as roads were wet, and swerved into hedge but bounced off into lorrys back 3 wheels and my right wheel came off and i swerved into other hedge, not happy as car might be written off, nobody got hurt though, phoned police and they took 30 mins!! and cant claim off insurance because police said its a knock for knock situation and wasnt anybodys fault, but insurers coming to see the car next few days, im so gutted, was only doin 40 and slowed down for the bend but trees blocks all view so had no chance anyway, if i was goin faster things could of been worse pics up soon

Sorry to hear that mate.
If you can argue that the truck was in your path you might have a case for payout. Depends if its likely he can prove you were travelling too fast for the road conditions. Difficult one, that.

Unlikely, on narrow roads etc you have to drive as if you expect something to come the other way, something about expecting the unexpected. My Dad did that, driving down a lane in Devon, milk tanker came the other way, he swerved thru a hedge and into a farmyard lmao
