Sorry to jack your thread, but i need some history on golfs, i want a 1.8 N/A but can only really find Turbo's. Where is the best place to look?

loads on autotrader mate, 1.8 n/as are 125bhp, same as a 2.0 think they r about a group 10 or 11

Yeah, i can't get insured on the Turbo, so i'm hoping the N/A will be nicer, its either that or a 1.8 Astra cabrio

you need to be aware that the bore wears quicker on the 2.9 lumps as opposed to the 2.8's generally thge 2.8 will out live any 2.9's in terms of re-liability.
