..do i make the rear of the custom enclosure air tight? or leave it open so the air runs intothe actual door itself?

is there a volume the back has 2 be or not? like a sub box

not to my knoledge no, and no pods ive seen have back sso i would say no.

think the sub has to be because it works on a low pictch, diff kind of air vibration to components.
